GSEB HSC Arts and Commerce results not released on May 17th, 2020
As per the previous communication, Gujarat School Education Board, the GSEB planned to announce its Arts and Commerce stream results on May 17, 2020. But the situation of COVID-19 made the board declare them off.
The GSEB 12th board exam took place between March 5 and March 21 and finished in a shorter span of time than expected, so that they could complete their exam procedure before any papers could be delayed due to lockdown announcement.The Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has said that the result for Arts and Commerce stream will be declared in June. Also, the Gujarat Board Chairman, A. H. Shah has told the students not to believe any fake social media news regarding the results for Arts and Commerce streams.
The fake news regarding the declaration of result on May 19, 2020, was circulated. The chairman told the media persons not to believe any news from any other sources than school websites and official news channels. Also, the news regarding the Arts and Commerce stream will be notified to teachers first so that they can inform their students about the same. These results hold a very important part of a student’s life and that is why they will be notified in the first place. The fake circular looks real, however, students need not worry, the results for Class 12 Arts and Commerce streams will be out in June as confirmed by the Chairman, A.H. Shah himself.
The science stream, however, was also worried about its result. The results of Arts and Commerce streams are awaited whereas, the Science Stream has its results declared. The Gujarat board on May 17, 2020, released the board exam results for the Science stream on its official website, making it convenient for the students and teachers to access the data online.
The Gujarat Board said that for now, the GSEB HSC Science Result 2020 would only be available on the official website, so that, no fake news cannot come into the picture.
Usually, the mark sheets for the Gujarat HSC Science Result are available in respected schools almost immediately afterward and the students would want to check their sheets and confirm their marks but this is not possible this year due to the statewide lockdown.
